SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Indiana University South Bend men’s basketball team tied its longest winning streak of five that dates back to the 2008-09 season after defeating Indiana University Northwest and Trinity International University last week. IUSB hits the road for two contests in the next three days before hosting Judson on Saturday, Feb. 5 inside the Student Activities Center.

The Titans face Saint Ambrose University tonight, Feb. 3 in Davenport, Iowa. In its last meeting, IUSB defeated the previously ranked National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics DII top-25 coaches poll Fighting Bees 100-78, on Dec. 21 in South Bend, Ind.
Wednesday’s CCAC matchup, Feb. 5 will be the 14th meeting all-time between the Roosevelt University Lakers and the Titans. IUSB holds the slight 7-6 advantage, but they are 3-4 in Chicago, Ill.
The Titans return home Saturday, Feb. 8 to host the Judson Eagles (5-19, 4-12 in the CCAC) for the second time during the 2019-20 campaign. IUSB defeated the Eagles 86-72, back on Nov. 20. In 2020, Jusdon is 3-5 and just 1-13 on the road all season having defeated St. Francis (Ill) 77-75 on Jan. 11 in Joilet, Ill.
Senior transfer Kourtlandt Martin averages 4.17 assists per game which is good for 3rd in the conference, while the Titans with 100 assists on the season. Junior Norell Smith ranks 16th in the league for an average of 6.25 rebounds per game. Junior counterpart Sergio Diaz is good for 24th in the CCAC with a 46.0 percentage from behind the arc.
