Pilots Remain Steady Near Top of Latest Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released their third Division II Top 25 Coaches’ Poll of the season on Wednesday and the Pilots fell two spots to No. 11 in the nation from No. 9 in the previous poll. The Pilots are the fourth-ranked Crossroads League team in the poll—behind No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 6 Mount Vernon Nazarene, and No. 8 Marian. No. 18 Grace made their first appearance in the top 25, while Saint Francis checked in at No. 21, and Spring Arbor dropped out of the Top 25 and fell into the Receiving Votes section.

The Pilots are 17-8 all-time as the No. 11 team in the nation and are 586-137 when ranked in the top 25 in program history. The Pilots have been ranked in the Top 25 in an NAIA record 191 polls.

The Pilots return to action on Saturday on the road at Goshen, before facing a tough home slate hosting No. 6 Mount Vernon Nazarene and No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan, and then traveling to No. 21 Saint Francis before the next edition of the poll.
