Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women’s basketball played their final regular season home competition this afternoon when they took on Cardinal Stritch University. Before tipoff, the athletic department recognized the four seniors playing their final home game of their careers at Holy Cross. Seniors, Brooke Sterkowitz, Taylor Nittler, Cameron Schultheis, and Kaelyn Barlow were all recognized for their accomplishments on their time here apart of the Holy Cross women’s basketball program.
The Saints jumped out to an early 9-0 lead after traditional 3-pt play by Arielle Thatcher and back to back made threes by Taylor Nittler. Holy Cross would control the first half and enter halftime up 36-28. The Saints forced the Wolves into 31 turnovers and was come away with the 67-59 victory. With the loss, the Saints improves to 9-21 overall and 8-14 while CSU falls to 10-18 and 8-14.
