Deerfield, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action this evening when they took on Trinity International University on the road. The Saints would jump out to an 11-2 lead to start the games and after a dominating first 20 minutes of action, Holy Cross went into halftime up 41-26. In the second half, the Trojans were able to outscore the Saints 44-24 to hand HCC the 70-65 defeated. With the loss, the Saints stand at 8-21 overall and 7-14 while TIU improves to 17-12 and 11-10.
