Notre Dame, Ind.  The Holy Cross College women’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action tonight when they hosted Robert Morris University in a pivotal conference matchup. Both teams came into tonight’s match currently fighting for post-season contention. The Saints took the lead late in the game, but RMU was able to go up two with under 20 seconds to play. Holy Cross had a shot late to tie it but were unable to connect as they fell 61-59. With the loss, women’s basketball falls to 8-17 overall and 7-10 in the CCAC while RMU improves to 15-10 and 11-8.
